The CAVE Approach© for HD was invited to participate in European Commission’s Learning Week “Live and Learn”, in the context of a conjoined presentation, conducted by Nicos Kourounakis (MASc, MBA, PMP, IPMA-D, PRINCE2, PM²) and Anastasia Moira, founder of the CAVE Approach©, and attended by EC Managers, Project Managers, Team Members and staff.
In the presentation that brought the title “Demonstrating Effective Intelligence (FI) in Projects: The people side of Project Management”, Nicos Kourounakis introduced his notion of Effective Intelligence as a decisive factor of performance in projects, while Anastasia Moira demonstrated how the CAVE Approach© can be applied to assess and systematically develop Effective Intelligence. Specifically, Anastasia introduced participants to the virtues and other concepts of the approach, and she briefly explained how the intellectual and moral virtues of the CAVE Approach© are required a) for the development and efficient application of the PM competencies and b) for the conscious management of people’s own attitudes, behaviors and actions that are greatly responsible for individual performance and wellbeing, as well as for any project’s success.
